A workbook in Microsoft Excel is a file that can contain multiple sheets, each used to organize related sets of information including statistics, calculations, or data tables.
For example, in a single Excel workbook, you might have one sheet for sales data, another for expenses, and a third for summaries or charts.
Being able to quickly move between these sheets helps you:
1.) Compare information across different sheets.
2.) Enter or update data in the correct place.
3.) Review or analyze related data without opening multiple files.
4.) Work more efficiently, especially in large projects or reports.
There are two main ways to access and switch between sheets in an Excel workbook with JAWS:
1.) Press CTRL+PAGE UP to move to the previous sheet or CTRL+PAGE DOWN to move to the next sheet.
2.) Press CTRL+SHIFT+S to open a dialog listing all sheets in the workbook. Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to navigate the list.
Press ENTER on a sheet to move directly to it and close the list.
