The Windows List dialog displays a list of all currently open application windows on your computer.
This includes programs, documents, and other open windows.
When you press JAWS KEY+F10, JAWS opens a dialog showing all running applications.
The JAWS KEY is INSERT if you are using Desktop Keyboard layout, and CAPS LOCK if using Laptop layout.
You can use the arrow keys to navigate the list.
Press ENTER to switch to the selected application, or DELETE to close it directly from the list.
Use this dialog to:
- Quickly switch between open applications without cycling through each one with ALT+TAB.
- Easily locate and activate a specific window, especially if you have many open.
- Close unwanted windows directly from the list, saving time and reducing clutter.
