Collectively, we have wanted to put together an initiative that gives back to the access community in honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) since we began publishing Top Tech Tidbits back in 2020.
But then came Access Information News and the need to flesh out and fund an entirely new publication. This rearranged many of our initial priorities.
Some of which I am very happy to report that we are now in a position to readdress. 🙂
About The Raffle / Giveaway
Together with Access Information News, Top Tech Tidbits is giving away over $1,500 USD in Sponsorship Packages and Sponsored Ad Placements to support anyone that provides products, services or information to the access community on a regular basis.
All prizes will be awarded on May 18, 2023 in honor of the 2023 12th Annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).
The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than one billion people with access needs.

This includes, but is not limited to any person, business, organization, blogger, podcaster, YouTuber or other access influencer that might benefit from scoring some serious exposure at absolutely no cost.
Raffle / Giveaway Rules
1.) You may nominate yourself one time. And we encourage you to do so. Anyone else may nominate you one time as well. There is no limit to the number of nominations that you can receive from others.
2.) Each nomination increases the odds of your name being pulled as one of the 8 final winners.
3.) While it is possible for the same person, business or organization to win more than one prize, no one person, business or organization will be permitted to win more than one of the top 3 prizes.
4.) No one person, business or organization will be permitted to win more than two prizes in this Raffle / Giveaway.

Raffle / Giveaway Setup
1.) Since we can’t write down everyone’s name on tiny pieces of paper and place them into a large rotating cylinder in order to determine the winners, we are going to do the equivalent, in digital form.
2.) Each non-duplicate nomination will represent one chance to win. We will filter all entries to make certain that only access-based product, service and/or information providers are included, but outside of that we will have NO SAY whatsoever over the actual choosing of the winners.
3.) Winners will be determined by utilizing a Random Number Generator, or RNG. You can think of it as a set of dice that you can set to any number and then roll to get a result.
4.) Let’s say we have 50 entries. Each entry is assigned a number. We then set the RNG to 50 and roll. Whatever number comes up will win the #10 prize. That instance of the name will then be removed from the cylinder, the RNG reset to 49, and the dice rolled again. Whatever number comes up this time will win the #9 prize. This process will continue until all 10 winners have been chosen.
