PWD Media Co-op Membership Now Open To All Sponsors of Top Tech Tidbits And Access Information News

Greetings everyone. Much to cover here so I’ll jump right in.

What is the PWD Media Co-op? The Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Media Distribution Co-op (MDC) is a group of persons, businesses and organizations with large, verified followings of BLV (blind and/or low vision) and/or PWD (persons with disabilities) readers who share some or all of their media distribution networks (think LinkedIn profile or Facebook Page) with each other in an attempt to gain greater combined reach and exposure to these communities.

The PWD Media Co-op was started, inadvertently, on or around November of 2024 by myself, Donna J. Jodhan and Dr. Kirk Adams as a way to reach more verified PWD readers with each post.

That synergy, coupled with the right social media scheduling software, proved to be quite powerful. So powerful in fact that others began to ask if they too could take advantage of this additional reach for their PWD-related initiatives.

And so, we began to iterate. The result is the PWD Media Co-op that exists today, which, as of this writing, is comprised of 15 different BLV and/or PWD leaders who collectively share more than 193,000 verified PWD readers with the Co-op across 41 different channels.

A “channel” is just a single social media network such as Facebook, Linkedin, X, Mastodon, etc. While the PWD is comprised of many different types of social media networks, we are currently only accepting new members with personal LinkedIn accounts and/or Facebook pages with verfied PWD followers that they might like to share. We are not accepting other social networks into the Co-op at this time due to the rules put in place for scheduling by those networks.

When we first started the Co-op we thought there might be a limit to the number of members that we could add to the Co-op over time. So we asked that anyone requesting membership have at least 10,000 followers to share. I am very happy to report that this is no longer the case.

We have determined that there is no technical limit to the number of members that the Co-op can accomodate, so this requirement is no longer necessary. Which is very good news for both the Co-op and the many PWD leaders out there with less than 10,000 followers.

And one of the primary reasons that the Board here at Mind Vault made the decision to open the PWD to all current Sponsors.

That said, I am very happy to report that as of December 1, 2025, Membership in the PWD Media Co-op is now a Sponsor benefit.

Just another way of saying thank you to the many Sponsors who make both publications possible.

Sponsors will retain membership in the Co-op whether they share their social networks with the Co-op or not. This means that Sponsors can still post to the PWD, should they choose to, even if they don’t share their networks with the PWD. Whereas non-sponsor members must share at least one verfied network and must be approved by the Mind Vault Board.

If you are a current Sponsor who would like to learn more about this new benefit, I encourage you to review the main PWD-MDC page located at: https://at-newswire.com/pwd-mdc/ prior to scheduling a call with me. This will make answering your questions much easier, and will make your time much more productive overall. You may even find that you don’t need to schedule a call at all, as we’ve been busy aggregating the answers to member questions in the dedicated FAQ. For Sponsors who still have questions, I’m here for you. 📧️

I’m most excited about the PWD Media Co-op because it represents unity in a landscape that desperately needs it. A way for PWD persons to support each other directly and authentically without outside influence. Whether it’s an event, fundraising campaign, promotion or press release, if you need to reach persons with disabilites along with the caregivers, companies and organizations that serve them, I encourage you to learn more about the PWD Media Co-Op today.

Cheers,
