Top Tech Tidbits Surpasses 50,000 Weekly Readers

On October 29, 2026, Top Tech Tidbits went out to 50,118 subscribers.

Fifty thousand readers. Can you believe that? Fifty thousand people who open Top Tech Tidbits every Thursday morning to find out what changed in access technology this week.

When Mind Vault Solutions, Ltd. became the distributor of Top Tech Tidbits on June 4, 2020, and I its Publisher, the newsletter had 7,435 active subscribers. Today it has more than 50,000. That is almost seven times as many readers in a little over six years.

And that growth belongs to you. To the partners who offer Top Tech Tidbits to their own communities, to the readers who forward it to a friend, and to the Sponsors who pay for its distribution so that it stays free for everyone. Thank you.

What 50,000 Readers Means for Sponsorship Pricing

Back on June 27, 2024, I explained how Top Tech Tidbits Sponsorship Package pricing would scale as the publication grows: $50 USD per month for every 10,000 readers served. The more people we send the newsletter to each week, the more it costs to send.

When we passed 30,000 readers, the rate for new Sponsors moved from $100 to $150 per month (November 11, 2024). When we passed 40,000, it moved from $150 to $200 per month (May 26, 2025).

We have now passed 50,000. So, starting today, a new Top Tech Tidbits Sponsorship Package costs $250 USD per month.

If You’re Already a Sponsor, Nothing Changes

If you are already a sponsor, your rate does not change. Whether you signed up at $50, $100, $150 or $200 per month, you keep that rate, and everything that came with it, for as long as you choose to remain a Sponsor. That has been our promise since 2020, and it is our way of saying thank you to the Sponsors who helped us get here.

Paying Quarterly or Annually Still Comes with Free Featured Ads

Paying quarterly or annually still comes with the same reward it always has: free Featured Advertisement credits, for the top advertising spot in the newsletter, just after the Sponsor Wall.

  • Paying monthly: $250 USD per month.
  • Paying quarterly: $750 USD per quarter, with one (1) free Featured Advertisement credit every quarter, a $250 USD value.
  • Paying annually: $3,000 USD per year, by subscription or one-time payment, with five (5) free Featured Advertisement credits every year, a $1,250 USD value.

Featured Advertisements are always available to anyone, Sponsor or not, for $250 USD per issue.

How Our Rates Compare with Mainstream Newsletters

Our Sponsorship Packages page has always said our advertising is priced below industry advertising standards. This time I measured it, against mainstream, non-disability newsletters of our size. Here is each of our prices, next to what the same placement lists for elsewhere:

  • Sponsorship Package, $250 USD per month: your logo, your profile and your Classified Advertisement in every weekly issue. Elsewhere, one classified or text ad, in one issue, lists at about $280. Every issue for a month runs about $1,210, and a year about $14,560, against our $3,000.
  • Featured Advertisement, $250 USD per issue: the top spot, just after the Sponsor Wall. Elsewhere, the top spot in one issue lists at a median $700, and weekly newsletters our size ask $700 to $2,000 (CSS Weekly $700, Data Elixir $1,475, Laravel News $2,000, each with 43,000 to 48,000 subscribers).
  • Spotlight Advertisement, $125 USD per issue: mid-issue, with an image. Elsewhere, a second ad in the same issue lists at about $410, and CSS Weekly charges $300 for its mid-newsletter spot.
  • Sponsored Tidbit Advertisement, $125 USD per issue, or $62.50 USD for current Sponsors: a text item near the top. Elsewhere, a text ad lists at about $280, and Data Elixir charges $1,175 for one in its bottom third.
  • Buy, Sell or Trade Advertisement: still $5 USD for four issues.

Translation: At mainstream list prices, one small text ad in one issue costs more than a whole month of our entire Sponsorship Package. Even measured by what advertisers actually paid on the Paved marketplace, our package costs less per reader, per issue, than the cheapest category of newsletters Paved tracks.

And our audience is not a general one. It is verified, specific, niche and hard to reach: 85% of our subscribers matched to LinkedIn professional profiles in August 2026. Buying 50,000 impressions of one LinkedIn ad, the usual way to reach verified professionals, costs about $3,130 at the 2026 United States average (ZenABM).

The prices that list elsewhere come from Book a Sponsor’s survey of 321 newsletter rate cards (September 2026) and each newsletter’s own advertising page. Every option we offer is described on our Advertise page.

Our sister publication, Access Information News, is right behind us, and it will follow the same formula when it passes 50,000 readers.

How to Become a Sponsor

Sponsorship Packages remain first-come, first-serve, and capped at 24 so that every Sponsor receives real attention. Everything a Sponsor receives, and every way to pay, is on our Sponsorship Packages page. If you have questions, I am always happy to answer them at publisher@toptechtidbits.com 📧️.

Fifty thousand. I still can’t quite believe it. Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing, and thank you for making free disability news possible.
