ZoomText / Fusion Power Tip: How To Lock Your Mouse Pointer Size in ZoomText

When using ZoomText, the mouse pointer shrinks and enlarges as you increase or decrease magnification.

This can make it difficult to locate.

You can lock it to a fixed size so it is easier to track.

To do this:

  1. On the Magnifier toolbar, click the lower half of the Pointer button, then choose Settings.
  2. Click Customize (or choose the Custom scheme).
  3. Adjust the Size slider to your preferred pointer size.
  4. Check Lock Pointer Size, then click OK. Now when you zoom in or out, you will see that the pointer stays the same size.
  5. To save the change, in the ZoomText menu, choose Configurations > Save As Default.
